HELLO, MY NAME IS CHARLOTTE
Thank you for coming all this way to read a few lines about me!
I’ve been a photographer for several years and now I specialize in your life moments. In search of authenticity, I like to immortalize emotions.
I first worked in the film industry, but kept photography as a hobby. Then I decided to take the plunge and make it my profession, which I now combine with my work as an event floral designer. I think it’s the creativity that attracts me in the first place.
Always eager to learn and experience new things, I don’t limit myself. My various activities revolve around working with shapes, colors and materials to embellish everyday life and capture atmospheres and sensations.
With a rather documentary style, I like the idea of telling you, as you are, while adding my touch, my view, as I see it, perhaps finally through the eyes of my first love: cinema.
MY PHOTOGRAPHY STYLE
I like natural, warm photos, moments caught on the spot: an emotion, a look, a smile. I can sometimes make you pose but always with the idea of guiding you to reassure you and put you at ease, so as to have images that resemble you.
Based on a documentary style, I like to add a cinematographic touch, an artistic eye while capturing natural moments. When I ask you to pose, as if I were staging a scene, it’s to give you a solid base that you don’t have to think about. What I aspire to in your photos is to capture the looks, the smiles, the laughter… everything that expresses those emotions we can’t keep quiet.
My colors are ochre and gold. I like contrasts, playing with light and shadow. . I’m committed to a natural colorimetry that brings out the best in all skin tones. So I seek out these warm colors through the choice of locations, settings, accessories, outfits and lighting.
I now work for private clients: portrait sessions, couples, maternity, family and weddings.
But also for professionals: showcasing products, culinary photography, portraits of artisans, etc.
